MagComp AB

MagComp was established in 2005 as a spin-off from Lund University. Its roots lie back to 1988 during which soft magnetic composite and electromagnetic component design have been researched and developed on by the company’s technology leadership. Close R&D ties and cooperation still remain between MagComp and Lund University. The company is based in Eslöv in southern Sweden.

Two main business areas are in focus for MagComp. The first area is Induction Heating System for manufacturing industry where MagComp developed the system GreenHeat and has leading manufacturing companies as customers i.e. Sandvik, Siemens, Dynapac Compaction Equipment, Tarkett, BAE system Hägglunds. The second area is Inductors where MagComp developed high efficient products that are verified by leading companies.
MagComp also produce SMC components in large volumes for a number of customers.

The company has strategically and financially strong owners as well as an invested management.

MagComp received the ISO 9000 and 14000 certifications in the end of 2012 and is now focusing on increasing its volumes in designated applications.

MagComp is ranked as a Cleantech company and is a member of Cleantech Inn Sweden.
