Energy efficient product solution

Strip metal

Heating of strip metal in continuous operation is suitable for MagComp Induction heating technology. The process could either be manufacturing of strip metal where the strip is the product or it could be in production equipment where the strip is part of the machine system i.e carrier of products.
Heating can be applied both double sided, single sided and for single strips or multiple strips.

Typical applications

– Pre-heating
– Re-heating
– Hardening & Tempering
– Coloring i.e. blue annealing
– Coating
– Drying
– Cleaning
– Pickling

Typical industries

– Metal working industries
– Laminating
– Food processing
– Waste handling

Planar parts

Heating of planar parts can be done by MagComp Induction heating technology. The parts are best moved on a conveyor through one or more induction heaters but also heating in single or multiple stations is possible as well as in hybrid solutions with induction pre-heating followed by a furnace.

Typical applications

– Pre-heating prior to furnace or process step
– Re-heating
– Coating
– Drying
– Cleaning

Typical industries

– Metal working industry
– Vehicle industry

Rollers

MagComp technology is suitable for heating of rollers, both the entire roller as well as parts of the roller depending on how it is used in the application. MagComp provides solutions for heating the roller from the outside (planar heater) as well as from the inside (Inroll heater).
The Inroll heater is placed inside the roller and require that the center shaft is fixed and the rotational bearing is outside the fixed center shaft.
